2. If you have practiced with Carol before, or completed the "New to Yoga, part 1" section, then you are ready for classes listed below. Register as a student for FREE. So I can update you if classes are added or canceled.

Warm-up:

Sunsalutes are, in and of themselves, a warm-up. Sometimes it's nice to have some optional gentle stretches before the Sunsalute series. Also, learn some history of yoga.

Keep learning:

There are a plethora of online resources to study Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. Here are links to some practices for beginners that you can use.

A 20 minute example practice by Ashtanga Nurse. I like his vibe.

A 30 minute class by David and Jelena Yoga. This is more instructional. This teaches the sunsalutes and some of the first poses. I like this husband/wife duo. They have a ton of trainings. Use them liberally.

A 40 minute class by David and Jelena Yoga. They use a drum beat to help keep an even breath.

1. The "Study With Us" page gives two books to study and a schedule. You can simply choose to read and study on your own or follow the schedule starting Sept 10, 2023.

2. If you would like to join a virtual discussion group on WhatsApp, you are in! Just let me know.

Carol's policy is that yoga should be available to anyone willing to do the learning regardless of financial status. Please honestly consider your budget and choose a donation level that works for you.
