Recommended Music

Generally, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Practices are not done with music. (Other kinds of Yoga use a lot of playlists as they do poses.)

There are a few ways, however, that Carol finds music helpful occasionally. She sometimes use these during classes.

Also, there are a few narrations that may be inspiring and helpful to you.

Suggested ways to use the music are included on the page.

8-Limb Resource Page

"8-Limb" refers to yoga practices beyond poses.

I used to think the philosophies of yoga might be strange or somehow" religious" or "against my religion". As it turns out, studying them has helped me deepen my spiritual foundation including understanding my own mind, my personal connection to God, and the religious texts I know and love.

This resource page catalogs relevant videos, blog posts, and podcasts.

Free Friday at 4:00 (CT) discussion is a BONUS class when I teach these topics.
